Top 10 Feline Lovers

Brad

As some of you may or may not know I love my Cats and everything to do with them just fills me with joy

I keep posting pictures of my own cat Purrdy and just sharing random photos of galleries of cute kitties on Facebook and Twitter much to my friends and followers annoyance but all the Cat Lovers enjoy it

So I thought a Top 10 Cat Lovers post would be pretty cool, to see different Friends to Felines in different media including TV, Films and Games

Fellow Geekmasher Casey loves his Dogs as much as I love Cats so if you're a Dog fan you should check out his post Top 10 Canine Lovers

Top 10 Canine Lovers

As a lot of you know, I love my dogs. I grew up with them all my life and I even have my own Dog Walking business, so I’m always surrounded with dogs in some shape or form. This is why I thought about doing a Top 10 Canine Lovers list. Fellow GeekMasher Brad has written the Top 10 Feline Lovers list, as he loves cats as much as I love dogs.

So here is my list comprising of canine lovers from movies, TV and games:

10. Big Boss ( Metal Gear Solid: The Phantom Pain

Early on in the game, you'll come across a puppy, abandoned due to his mother being killed. If you choose to, you can Fulton the puppy to your mother base, where you will see it grow up to a adult, eventually joining you on missions whilst sniffing out the enemies and helping you to take them down.

Nintendo NX Controller Revealed as a Fake

The leak a few days ago of the Nintendo NX controller pictures has been confirmed fake by their creator. YouTuber ID 2ef showed how he created the fake image. Hopefully we'll find out what the Nintendo NX really is like soon and won't have to keep hearing about all these rumours.

Lego Batman: The Movie Trailer

Lego Batman: The Movie finally got it's first trailer and looks like it is going to as funny as The Lego Movie. Enjoy the trailer below:

Where Does He Get Those Wonderful Toys?

Brad

So there's a new Batman film coming out featuring some other guy from Krypton

So I didn't count Batman as one of my favourite comic book characters but now that I've thought about it more I suppose I do, I mean I have two pairs of Batman shoes, lots of his graphic novels and I love drawing him so...why not?

This is why I found it so easy to put this list together and my knowledge of it just comes naturally

SO with that in mind I thought I would go over my favourite things to do with The Dark Knight

Rumour: New Nintendo NX Controller Pictures Leaked

New Nintendo NX controller pictures might be hinting at what we should expect from  Nintendo's future console and what it can do. A bit of info on Reddit  was also included with these two images:
  • Only the upper 'nubs' of the sticks move. The bottom part is static (kind of like the circle pad, but it moves along the bottom 'sphere'.
  • The rollers on the top feel and look pretty much identical to a mouse scroll-wheel. Though I do don't believe this will be the final design.
  • Haptic feedback is feels like Apples 'taptic' engine. Not like regular rumble.
  • 3.5mm headphone jack on the bottom

D&D - Dark Beginnings

Sorry I haven't done any posts in a while.

Running and designing two RPG campaigns and trying to get my first novel finished has left me with little time, but I am determined to make a serious effort to get regular posts done!

Today's post is as you can probably guess by the title about dungeons and dragons

Now lets get one thing absolutely straight...

I LOVE D&D!!!

Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 Review

I have been a huge Naruto fan for many years now. I started watching the series because a friend recommended it to me. I was a little late to the party, but after starting with the Rock Lee vs Gaara fight, I was hooked. The action, characters, special abilities, awesome music, great story and comedy made me a fan.

I went back to old episodes to catch up on what I missed, and could see why this series was getting so well known among the anime crowd. The series does have some faults though, mainly with the anime. They include many filler episodes to drag out the series, as the manga is now finished. Luckily enough if you do start this series (which I highly recommend), you can look up a guide to skip all filler episodes, as most of them are rubbish.

Monday 21st March

Not too much news today, but I guess it is early in the week, so we’ve got lots of time for exciting news.

Apple

First off, Apple announced a new iPhone SE, a 4-inch iPhone with a power roughly between a 6 and a 6s.

They announced new bands and colour faces, whilst the Apple Watch has also had a price cut.

Released directly after the Apple Event is the new iOS 9.3. It features the new Night Shift mode (making it easier to read in the dark), Apple Notes app and more.

The new iPad Pro 9.7 is basically the same as the iPad Pro which came out last year, but smaller.

Mario Day!

Brad

Today is Mario Day!

First appearing in Arcades as Jumpman in Donkey Kong, Mario went on to be a mascot in a massive amount of games as well as being the titular hero in his own series and lots of spin offs including Kart racing, Tennis and friendship ruiners (Mario Party)

With mostly hits and only a miniscule amount of misses *CoughMarioMovieCough*, Mario continues to be THmost loved Nintendo character

Kayleigh did her post for it last year which you can read HERE and this year is my turn!

So put on your M Cap and those dungarees, load up your favourite Mario game and have some Mario themed food for the evening if you are so inclined (I highly recommend the Mario Meatballs with goomba sauce, salt and pepper blooper or some lightly grilled cheep cheeps)

So what do you do now? You have a film that you are incredibly proud of and you want to get it out there to be seen by your peers as well as by industry people. Hopefully this will lead to more work. I have 4 films that have gone to film festivals...so let me tell you how I did it. Maybe you can get an idea of what the process will be.
